B-L High School Hosts Academic Letter Ceremony

Around 170 freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors from B-L High School were honored at a special Academic Letter Ceremony on Thursday, May 2nd at the Lexington County School District Three Fine Arts Center.  This marked the second year that BLHS has hosted an event of this kind.

Students with a cumulative GPA based on the South Carolina Uniform Grading Scale of a 3.75 at the end of the first semester were awarded an academic letter for the first year they met this criteria and an academic chevron for each succeeding year of this accomplishment.

Congratulatory remarks were made during the ceremony by Superintendent Dr. Randall Gary, B-L High School Principal Sonya Bryant and B-L High School Assistant Principals Era Roberts and Eric Gambrell.
