The Lexington County School District Three Summer Meal Program will be held at B-L Elementary School this summer starting on June 10th and running through August 1st. Breakfast and lunch will be served free to any child between the ages of 3 and 18 who would like to participate. Breakfast will be served from 8 am until 9 am, and lunch will be served from 11 am until 12 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of the aforementioned dates. There will be no meals served on Fridays. B-L Elementary School is located at 403 South Lee Street in Leesville.
Local non-profit organizations who would like to participate in the free program are asked to contact the Food Services Department at 803-532-8006. Community members can call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or 1-877-8-HAMBRE to find other program sites that may be closer to them. The USDA is an equal opportunity employer and provider.
