B-L High School Students Graduate From CNA Program

Twelve students from B-L High School graduated from the Lifelong Learning Center’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program on Wednesday, May 15th.  The class gave students course credit towards their high school diploma and nine of the twelve individuals also went on to earn their CNA certification.  With a CNA certification, graduates can qualify for employment in many different areas of the medical field including skilled living facilities, assisted living facilities, and mental health clinics.    


Congratulations to the following students for completing the Certified Nursing Assistant Program:  Ashlynn Balkcum, Taylor Drafts, Shanise Dunn, De’Ashia Finkley, Zoe Jackson, Chardeja’ Jeffcoat, Megan Medlin, Sandreka Pixley, Mariela Rios, Taylor Shealy, Alyssa Whittington, and Akashia Wicker.


The graduation ceremony was hosted by the Lifelong Learning Center’s CNA Instructor, Mrs. Patricia Tiffner, and was attended by parents, District Three leaders and community members.
