Four students from B-L High School were recently honored as the local winners of the Voice of Democracy contest that is sponsored by the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).

December 3rd through 9th marked National Computer Science Education Week and as a result, students in classrooms across the state, nation and world participated in what is known as Hour of Code. During Hour of Code, students are exposed to a variety of coding activities designed to engage novice coders, as well as advanced coders, thus demonstrating that anybody can learn coding basics and encouraging greater participation in the field of computer science.
Junior and Senior students who purchased B-L High School class rings were able to participate in the second annual Ring Ceremony that took place on December 4th at the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center.
The Batesburg-Leesville High School Army JROTC will be conducting there JROTC Program of Accreditation on Tuesday, February 12, 2019!!!!!
On Thursday, November 29th, a crew from KnowledgeWorks visited B-L Primary and B-L High Schools to capture footage and interviews pertaining to the schools’ personalized learning efforts.
Deidre Yonce, Lexington County School District Three’s Director of Child Nutrition, is pleased to announce that B-L Primary, B-L Elementary, B-L Middle and B-L High Schools’ cafeterias had a surprise inspection this month from the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and all four schools received an overall score of 100% (a perfect score).

Four students from B-L High School were honored at the September 19th Lexington County School District Three Board of Trustees meeting for receiving a diploma from the American Legion Nathan M. Wolfe Law Cadet Academy. The students participated in the program June 16th through 22nd at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia.
