Lexington County School District Three announces two new head coaches for the 2023-2024 school year.
Congratulations to William Ash who has been named the Batesburg-Leesville High School Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach. Mr. Ash, who previously served as an assistant basketball coach for the Varsity team and as a B-Team basketball coach, has taught Social Studies at Batesburg-Leesville High School for the past six years and has served as the Head Coach for the boy’s tennis program for the past five years. During his time as Head Coach, the boy’s tennis team has secured two region championships.
Also, congratulations to Logan Koon who has been named the Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach. Coach Koon is a 2019 graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School where he played soccer and basketball. He graduated from Lander University in December of 2022. Coach Koon served as the Varsity boys soccer team’s assistant coach this past season and had a huge role in the team’s success.
