25 students were recognized at the Tuesday, November 12th Board of Trustees meeting for earning perfect scores on their End-of-Course (EOC) exams during the 2023-2024 school year.
End-of-Course exams in South Carolina are standardized tests given at the high school level to assess students' mastery of specific subjects including Algebra I, Biology 1, English 2, and U.S. History. These exams serve as a key measure of student learning and account for 20% of a student’s final grade in each respective course. EOC exams are intended to ensure consistency and academic rigor across the state and help evaluate both individual student performance and overall school effectiveness in core subject areas.
Last school year, 25 students in our district achieved perfect scores on South Carolina's End-of-Course exams. Remarkably, 4 students excelled with perfect scores in multiple subjects, contributing to our district's 29 perfect scores overall.
