Lexington County School District Three has an important update regarding the 2025-2026 academic calendar. After careful review and consideration, the district has amended the originally-published school calendar to reflect a new start and end date, as well as the removal of Enrichment Weeks. (If the removal of Enrichment Weeks causes a problem for your family, please reach out to your child's principal by no later than June 30th.)
The decision to amend the calendar did not come lightly. Over the past several years, the district has observed a steady decline in student participation during Enrichment Weeks. At the same time, changes in funding models have increased the financial burden associated with offering these supplemental programs.
