Lexington County School District Three is proud to announce the Teachers of the Year for the 2026-2027 school year. The honorees were selected by their colleagues in recognition of their outstanding leadership, dedication to their schools, involvement in school activities, and of course, excellence in the classroom.
The 2026-2027 Teachers of the Year are:
Batesburg-Leesville Primary School — Emily Mowry (PE Teacher)
Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School — Mary Clare Price (5th Grade Math and Science Teacher)
Batesburg-Leesville Middle School — Adena McCullough (8th Grade ELA and English 1 Teacher)
Batesburg-Leesville High School — Kayla Cotney (Sports Medicine Teacher)
These educators will now represent their respective schools in the Lexington County School District Three Teacher of the Year program this September as they compete for the title of Lexington Three Overall Teacher of the Year.
