Beginning the afternoon of Monday, August 15th, left-hand turns onto Summerland Avenue will no longer be allowed as folks leave the B-L High School campus from the main entrance. This is applicable during both morning and afternoon drop-off times, from 7:30 am - 8:15 am and 3 pm - 4 pm. Please note that u-turns are also not permitted in the student/Fine Arts Center parking lot.
Officers with the B-L Police Department will be patrolling to help us enforce these new rules and keep traffic flowing on the main roads.
Other traffic reminders:
- All student drivers and those riding with student drivers should park in the student parking lot nearest the stadium as they will enter the building via the sidewalk behind the gym that leads to the door behind the science wing and cafeteria.
- All students who are being dropped off as a car rider should be dropped off in the front staff parking lot nearest the English Wing/Main Office. Please pull all the way to the designated area so that multiple students may exit or enter the cars at once. (This is where students will be picked up in the afternoons as well.)
- Any student who is riding a bus will enter and exit the building using the doors facing the bus loop. BUSES WILL BE THE ONLY VEHICLES ALLOWED TO PROCEED PAST THE FACULTY PARKING LOT.
