It was no easy task today for these three outstanding individuals who served as judges in our Lexington Three Teacher of the Year process! They visited the classrooms of our four teacher finalists and conducted one-on-one interviews to help determine who will be named the 2025-2026 District Three Teacher of the Year. The big announcement will be made at a special banquet on September 16th! A huge thank you to our judges for lending their time and expertise: ⭐ Stephanie Wallace, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Edgefield County School District; ⭐ Holly Brazell, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Saluda County School District; ⭐ Toni Chewning, Director of Association Activities, Palmetto State Teachers Association.

Rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of our B-L High School seniors this morning as they carried on a beloved Panther tradition — Senior Sunrise! The Class of 2026 gathered at The Rock in front of BLHS to share breakfast, laughs, and fellowship before “signing in” by leaving their mark on The Rock. It’s the perfect way to kick off their final year as Panthers and we know this group is ready to make it one to remember!

Today was a day to remember as our Varsity Panther baseball team took a victory lap through all four Lexington Three schools during a special Championship Prowl! Riding in style on our new activity bus, the team visited B-L Primary, Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, proudly showing off their SCHSL State Championship trophy and hardware. Younger Panthers lined the halls, cheered them on, and even scored a few autographs from Coach Rob Bouknight himself! The celebration wrapped up at B-L High School where the trophy found its permanent home in the lobby of the new gym—a symbol of hard work, heart, and Panther pride.

Today was an unforgettable day for our B-L community! Our amazing B-L High School Class of 2025 graduates proudly wore their caps and gowns as they took a special walk down memory lane—visiting each of our schools to greet our younger Panthers and reconnect with former teachers who helped shape their journey. After The Prowl, the celebration continued in the new BLHS gym for College & Career Signing Day! Our seniors signed flags, pennants, and banners representing the colleges, universities, and employers they’ll be joining soon. We couldn’t be more proud of these young men and women and all they’ve accomplished. The future is bright and it’s a GREAT day to be a Panther!
