Make plans now to support the Batesburg-Leesville High School Panther Players as they present "Little Shop of Horrors" at the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center! 🎬🤩 Production dates and times are as follows: Thursday, October 24th at 7 pm; Saturday, October 26th at 7 pm; and Sunday, October 27th at 2 pm. Tickets will be available at the door and are $8 for Lexington Three students and staff (please have ID available) and $12 for members of the general public. **Please be aware that this play is intended for older students and adults and may be too frightening for younger children. Parental discretion is recommended.**

Homecoming Dress Up Days
This Friday, October 18th is Homecoming at Batesburg-Leesville High School. The Varsity Panther football team will face off against the American Leadership Academy Patriots beginning at 7:30 pm in Panther Stadium. 🏈 Prior to the game, alumni of Batesburg-Leesville High School are invited to attend a special Homecoming tailgate. The tailgate will be held just outside of Panther Stadium in the area to the side of the new Panther Walk. Each decade of alumni is being allotted a section of the space for cooking and mingling. Please see the graphic for additional information. Each decade has already completed the planning for cooking, etc. so anyone who wants to participate is invited to simply stop by on Friday! We can't wait to welcome all of our Panthers home!

On Thursday, September 5th, three esteemed judges visited the classrooms of our Teachers of the Year from across the district to conduct observations and interviews, evaluating the finalists to determine who will be named the 2024-2025 Lexington County School District Three overall Teacher of the Year. Don't forget that auditions for Lexington Three's district-wide theatrical performance "Shrek the Musical" are scheduled to take place tomorrow (Tuesday, August 20th) at B-L High School. Panther stadium is under construction! We are working on improving drainage, irrigation systems and grading to ensure a safer, more level playing surface. We are also installing a more durable, high-traffic natural grass called Celebration Bermuda. We can’t wait until football season! Save the date of Friday, September 13th when the Panthers take on the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets for the first home football game of the season. GO PANTHERS!

The Batesburg-Leesville High School Sports Medicine team has been awarded the Safe Sports School 1st Team award by the National Athletic Trainers' Association. The Safe Sports School Award recognizes secondary schools around the country that take crucial steps to keep their athletes free from injuries. What a milestone for our sports medicine team!

2024-2025 B-L High School Beta Club Officers Hansel Discua, Zoey Rowe, Riley Bouknight and Joseph Jimenez presented a check to Generations of Batesburg-Leesville on Thursday, May 30th. The BLHS Beta Club fundraised the money after the facility recently suffered damages due to a fire.

Lexington County School District Three proudly announces commencement ceremony plans for the Batesburg-Leesville High School Class of 2024.The ceremony will take place on Friday, May 24th beginning at 7 pm in the beautiful new Batesburg-Leesville High School competition gymnasium. Admission into the gym is by ticket-only. Please note that the doors of the gymnasium will be promptly locked at 6:55 pm in order to ensure that everyone is seated when graduates process into the gym. All other spectators are invited to watch the ceremony via livestream in the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center. The event will also be streamed on Lexington Three's YouTube channel. On Wednesday, May 1st, B-L High School Dual Enrollment students participated in Midlands Technical College's Commencement Ceremony. Students were awarded either their General Studies Certificate or Associate of Arts degree. If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend come on over to the Fine Arts Center at 7 pm on Saturday for the B-L High School Panther Curtain Call! The Panther Curtain Call is a compilation of student directed and choreographed musical theatre classics. There will be songs from Les Miserables, Chicago, Legally Blonde, Six, Little Shop of Horrors and more! The showcase will feature students from The Panther Players, which is the BLHS Drama Club.
