A special THANK YOU goes out to Jim and Cheryl Wiszowaty on becoming the first Anchor Partner of the B-L Panthers Athletic Booster Club! The Wiszowaty family has been a tremendous supporter of Lexington Three's schools and athletic programs for many, many years and we are so grateful to have them in our community!

The B-L High School archery team performed well at the NASP state tournament on March 27th. The team placed 8th in the state out of the top 15 that made the cut into the bullseye competition. In addition, congratulations to Andrew Hall who took home the 3rd place senior ranking in IBO (3rd highest senior score in the state) and won a $1,500 scholarship to apply to his college of choice. Austin Shealy (a junior at BLHS) took 2nd place in the high school male division for bullseye (2nd highest male score in the state). Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to the B-L High School Colorguard on receiving a 1st place finish and being named the Scholastic Regional A Champions at the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association's Championships on Saturday, April 6th! What a wonderful achievement!

Another FANTASTIC and FUN enrichment week in Lexington Three is just about in the books! Our students have had the best time the past few days participating in a wide variety of camps including metal detecting camp, Lego camp, cooking with a good book camp, soccer camp, moving west camp and podcasting camp....just to name a few! Our enrichment weeks provide staff members with an opportunity to get to build even deeper relationships with our precious Panthers and expose them to a wide variety of extracurricular activities that they might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience. We also get the chance to help children who may need just a little bit of extra academic assistance. All in all, enrichment weeks are just one more way that we get to show some additional love to the children of the Batesburg-Leesville community. Visit our Facebook page for a ton of pics!

This week marked Unified Spirit Week at B-L High School and our students enjoyed some dress-up fun! This week is dedicated each year to spreading the message of inclusion because we love all of our Panthers!

Don't forget that Annie the musical starts tomorrow evening at the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center and runs through the weekend! Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for Lexington Three students/staff (must have a district ID) and $8 for members of the general public. Showtimes are as follows: Friday, March 15th @ 7 pm, Saturday, March 16th @ 7 pm, and Sunday, March 17th @ 3 pm. Come join us for some great acting, singing, and dancing by members of the B-L High School theatre department and of course, enjoy a guest performance by a really cute pup named Sandy.

B-L High School senior Miguel Santana recently learned that he passed the Michelin Tech Scholar test! This is a highly-selective program and we are so proud of Miguel! The Technical Scholars Program selects students to develop hands-on work experience while earning their degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or Electronics Engineering Technology (EET). Michelin Technical Scholars receive scholarships to cover the cost of tuition, fees and books for the program along with competitive pay and part-time work in a Michelin manufacturing facility. Way to go Miguel!

Last night, the Batesburg-Leesville High School Panther football program gathered for a heartwarming end-of-the-year banquet, honoring two extraordinary individuals for their many decades of dedicated service. 👏 A round of applause and a heartfelt congratulations to Chip Penick, a true legend in B-L athletics, for an outstanding 30 years of service! Former Panthers Varsity Football Coach Phil Strickland proudly presented the award to Chip, recognizing his outstanding commitment as the football team's equipment manager. 🎉 Coach Gary Smallen, also an icon in B-L athletics, was celebrated for an astonishing 50 years of service. The award, presented by former Coastal Carolina football coach and colleague David Bennett, showcased Coach Smallen's enduring impact and dedication. Coach Smallen serves as the football team's Offensive Coordinator and is Head Coach of the golf team.
